San Bernardino County Land Use Services and the Code Enforcement Division are inviting residents of unincorporated communities to participate in a free Community Cleanup event in Lytle Creek on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., or earlier if equipment reaches capacity, at 1209 Lytle Creek Road on the west side of Lytle Creek Road across from the Ranger Station.
The cleanup event gives residents an opportunity to properly dispose of unwanted household trash, bulky items, green waste, and vehicle tires at no cost. Free disposal services will also include e-waste and on-site confidential document shredding. The event is funded by CalRecycle and intended to help keep local communities clean while providing residents with safe, convenient disposal options.
Accepted items include household trash, bulky items, green waste, vehicle tires, and electronic waste such as televisions, computers, monitors, VCRs, stereo equipment, cell phones, and more. Residents should note that no business or commercial waste will be accepted. Hazardous waste items, including batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, paint products, and medications, will not be accepted at the event.
The program is limited to residents of unincorporated communities. Participants are required to unload their own materials, and oversized or difficult-to-handle loads may be turned away at the discretion of event staff. Residents hauling tires should be aware that loads are limited to a maximum of nine tires per trip, and tires on rims will not be accepted.
For questions regarding the event, residents may contact Land Use Services at (909) 383-2133.
