The Homestead Valley community will light up the desert sky this Labor Day weekend with a special fireworks celebration marking 40 years of Homestead Valley Park. The “Party for the Park” takes place Saturday, September 5, at Homestead Valley Park – Landers, 1501 Belfield Blvd. in Landers, with festivities beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary and Homestead Valley Park – Landers, the evening will bring neighbors together for a night of community fun capped off by a spectacular fireworks show. The celebration recognizes four decades of the park serving as a gathering place for residents and families throughout the Homestead Valley communities.
The event also supports an important cause: revitalizing Homestead Valley Park and Recreation. Organizers are encouraging community members to contribute to ongoing rehabilitation efforts, with proceeds going directly toward improvements intended to preserve the park for generations to come.
Come out Saturday evening, celebrate 40 years of Homestead Valley Park and enjoy a Labor Day weekend tradition under the desert sky!
