The recent National Senior Center Month designation recognized the important role senior centers play in helping older adults stay active and connected. Across San Bernardino County, senior centers serve as community hubs offering everything from social and recreational activities to wellness programs, meals, educational opportunities, and connections to local resources.
Numerous centers throughout the Third District alone give residents opportunities to get involved close to home. To find a senior center or other resource location near you, use the County’s online search tool and enter your city or ZIP code.

Senior centers are also part of a much broader network of services available to older residents through the San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services – Public Guardian (DAAS-PG). The department helps older adults, individuals with disabilities, families, and caregivers maintain independence and quality of life through a variety of programs and services.
Not sure where to start? Call the County’s Senior Information and Assistance program at 1-800-510-2020 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to connect with services related to food, housing, transportation, caregiving, senior center activities, and other community resources.
