Residents in the eastern Third District will have an opportunity to connect with employers, career resources, and valuable support services at the upcoming Needles Job and Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place at the historic El Garces Train Depot, located at 950 Front Street in Needles, and will bring together employers, workforce partners, and community organizations to help residents explore job opportunities and access services that support career advancement.
Hosted in partnership with San Bernardino County departments, Workforce Development partners, and the City of Needles, the event is designed to provide a one-stop location where residents can learn about employment openings, connect with local employers, and access services that help individuals prepare for and secure meaningful work. Those who are actively seeking employment are encouraged to bring copies of their resume.
In addition to meeting with employers, attendees will have access to several helpful on-site services. The Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Mobile Unit will be available to assist San Bernardino County residents with services such as copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates, notary public filings, fictitious business name statements, and assessor property information.
Representatives from the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office will also be present to provide record clearing services, helping individuals begin the process of addressing eligible records. This service can play an important role in helping individuals remove barriers to employment and move forward with new opportunities.
Community resource partners will also be available throughout the event to share information about workforce programs, job training opportunities, and supportive services designed to help residents succeed.
Residents interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance at HDHE326.eventbrite.com.
