San Bernardino County residents in Needles now have convenient access to healthcare services through the On-The-Go Health mobile medical clinic. Designed to serve Medi-Cal recipients and applicants, the clinic provides vital primary and urgent care services directly in the community—no insurance required.
Mobile Care That Meets You Where You Are
Every Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the mobile clinic is stationed at the Transitional Assistance Department’s parking lot, 1090 E. Broadway Street in Needles. Appointments are highly recommended to ensure timely care, though walk-ins are welcome as capacity allows.
Comprehensive Services at No Cost to You
The clinic offers a broad range of primary care services, including:
- Annual adult health screening physicals
- Blood pressure and diabetes testing (HgbA1c, glucose)
- Pregnancy testing
- Chronic disease medication refills (for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid issues, and arthritis)
It also provides urgent care services, such as:
- Testing and treatment for urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- STI screenings (including gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV)
- Rash and minor wound care
- Evaluation and treatment for fever, colds, and flu
- Hepatitis C screening
