The Redlands community is coming together to honor the life and legacy of Redlands Police Officer Seth Franklin, who bravely fought melanoma for more than two years before passing away on April 6, 2025. Officer Franklin was a devoted husband, loving father, and a respected public servant who left behind his wife, Ashley, and their two young sons.

In his memory, friends, neighbors, and local organizations are joining forces to support the Franklin family through a special Give Back Night at The Tartan of Redlands on Wednesday, May 21, from 4 to 9 p.m. This evening of community, compassion, and remembrance will help raise funds for the family to cover funeral and medical expenses, offering tangible support in a time of heartbreaking loss.

100% of the evening’s proceeds will go directly to the Franklin family. A significant portion of all dining sales at The Tartan during the event will be donated, and guests will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle featuring exciting prizes, including a stay in Palm Springs.

In addition, Seth Franklin Memorial T-shirts—generously donated by Jam Sportswear—will be available for purchase at the event. All proceeds will benefit the family.

This event is made possible through the collaboration of the Redlands Sunrise Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Redlands, the Redlands Police Officers Foundation, and The Tartan of Redlands.

We invite you to join us. Whether you come to enjoy a meal, buy a T-shirt, or simply stand in support, your presence will mean more than words can express. Together, we can help carry the weight of grief for a family who has given so much to our community.
