The San Bernardino County Library is bringing a new weekly Farmers Market to Highland, blending fresh food with community connection. Beginning Wednesday, April 29, the market will take place every Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Highland Sam J. Racadio Library and Environmental Learning Center. Hosted in partnership with the California Farmers Market Collective, the market is open to all ages and will feature local vendors offering farm-fresh produce, artisan goods, and ready-to-eat favorites.
Designed to support regional growers and small businesses, the market will offer a rotating selection of vendors including Bon Jour Yogurt, Native Farms Hummus, Nicky’s Pizza, Grateful Dough Sourdough, Good Juju Coffee, and Great Day Farms. SNAP/EBT will be accepted, helping ensure fresh, healthy food options are accessible to all. Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming space where residents can shop, connect, and enjoy a vibrant midweek outing.
To celebrate the grand opening, visitors who check out 15 library items can receive a custom tote bag—perfect for carrying both books and market finds. The market is free to attend and open to the public.
And if one farmers market just isn’t enough (no judgment), you can find a full list of certified farmers markets across the county through the San Bernardino County Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures website—because fresh produce and good decisions should never be limited to Wednesdays.
