The County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk’s office will provide vital records services, including the issuance of birth, death, and marriage certificates, notary public filings, and fictitious business name statements. The Public Defender’s office will assist with record-clearing and expungement services, a crucial resource for individuals looking to start fresh in the job market. The Department of Veterans Affairs will also help with VA benefits and claims, including the issuance of veteran ID cards.
