Barstow residents have convenient access to free primary and urgent care services thanks to San Bernardino County’s On-The-Go Health mobile medical clinic.
Designed to serve Medi-Cal recipients and individuals who may not currently have insurance, this mobile unit brings essential healthcare services directly into the community—making care more accessible and easier to receive.

The On-The-Go Health mobile clinic is available in Barstow every Tuesday:

Appointments are strongly recommended to ensure timely service, though walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

Comprehensive Care at No Cost
The mobile clinic offers a wide range of primary care services, including:
- Annual adult health screening physicals
- Blood pressure checks
- Diabetes testing (HgbA1c and glucose)
- Pregnancy testing
- Medication refills for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and arthritis
Urgent care services are also available, including:
* Evaluation and treatment for fever, colds, and flu
* Testing and treatment for urinary tract infections (UTIs)
* STI screenings (including gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV)
* Rash and minor wound care flu
* Hepatitis C screening
