The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Supervisor Rowe’s proposal to provide funding for much-needed improvements for the Lucerne Valley Community Center.

The scope of the work will include new energy-efficient windows and doors, an upgrade to a commercial kitchen facility, a replacement of the flooring, and improvements to the restrooms. Additionally, the County’s Special Districts division will install new accessible pathways in Pioneer Park to ensure park facilities comply with Americans With Disabilities Act guidelines.

Supervisor Rowe said, “This funding is essential to ensuring that Lucerne Valley has a community center that will help serve the needs of all our residents for years to come.” The Lucerne Valley Community Center is located in Pioneer Park, 33187 Highway 247 East in Lucerne Valley.
