Couples dreaming of a Halloween wedding with a little Old West flair should start making plans now. Halloween Marriage Services are returning to Calico Ghost Town on Saturday, October 31, and appointments are expected to fill quickly.
The San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s Office and Regional Parks will host the annual event from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the historic 1880s mining town in Yermo. Against the backdrop of historic buildings and mines, couples can tie the knot in traditional wedding attire, western wear, or even Halloween costumes. County officials will be there to provide marriage services and officiate ceremonies.
Appointments are strongly encouraged due to high demand and must be scheduled by Friday, October 23, by calling 1-855-732-2575. Couples are encouraged to reserve early rather than wait until October, as this unique Halloween tradition is expected to sell out. There is no limit on the number of wedding guests, although everyone attending must pay regular park admission.
Calico Ghost Town is located at 36600 Ghost Town Road in Yermo. Couples and their guests are welcome to stay after the ceremony and enjoy the park’s Halloween festivities.
