This October, San Bernardino County Animal Care is excited to partner with Subaru of San Bernardino as part of the annual #SubaruLovesPets initiative, offering free adoptions for qualifying pets at both the Big Bear and Devore Animal Shelters. Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA®, this collaboration allows us to ensure every pet has the chance to find a loving home.
During this special event, all adoption fees are waived for qualifying pets, and each adoption includes essential services like spaying/neutering, microchipping, and most vaccines. This opportunity not only provides families with a chance to add a new member to their household, but it also helps alleviate the growing number of companion animals entering shelters across the country.
According to the ASPCA®, nearly 6.5 million animals entered shelters nationwide last year, and many continue to wait for a forever home. With Subaru’s support, our organization is better equipped to cover the essential costs of preparing pets for adoption and ensuring they are ready for a smooth transition into their new lives.
