Supervisor Rowe is aware of the critical conditions on the ground in the Mountain Communities. The county has elevated this to a full unified command. All resources have been and will continue to be deployed to the mountains. The Board of Supervisors has asked the state for any and all resources they can provide, but we have not heard back from them. If you are in need of medicine, food, or other critical supplies, call the 24/7 county OES hotline at 909-387-3911. If you are in immediate life-threatening danger, call 911.
Residents of unincorporated mountain communities are encouraged to attend the East Big Bear Valley Community Meeting on Monday, October 16. Supervisor Rowe will be there to answer questions and discuss San Bernardino County resources and programs that are available now.
The meeting takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, at the Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency, 121 Palomino Drive in Big Bear City.
