San Bernardino County is seeking public input as part of an effort to better understand concerns related to heavy-duty truck traffic in unincorporated communities. Residents are encouraged to share feedback about issues such as safety, noise, parking, congestion, and other impacts associated with truck activity in their neighborhoods.

The outreach effort is tied to Assembly Bill 98, a state law requiring counties to establish and clearly mark truck routes in unincorporated areas. The legislation is intended to improve roadway safety, reduce conflicts between trucks and residential neighborhoods, and support efficient goods movement throughout California. As a major logistics hub, San Bernardino County is working to balance freight transportation needs with quality-of-life concerns in local communities.

To gather feedback, the County Land Use Services Department has launched an interactive Social Pinpoint map where residents can identify locations of concern, share observations, and review draft truck-route signage plans. Community members are encouraged to submit comments by June 3, 2026, and can click this link to learn more and sign up for future updates.
