Residents of Landers and surrounding unincorporated communities are invited to take part in a free Community Cleanup event on Saturday, March 14, 2026, hosted by San Bernardino County Land Use Services – Code Enforcement in partnership with the Solid Waste Management Division and funded in part by CalRecycle.
The event will provide local residents with an opportunity to properly dispose of accumulated household trash, bulky items, tires, and electronic waste at no cost. Cleanup events like this help keep neighborhoods safe, reduce illegal dumping, and protect the natural beauty of the desert communities.
The cleanup will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, or until equipment reaches capacity, at 1501 Belfield Blvd. in Landers.
