Supervisor Rowe is aware of the critical conditions on the ground in the Mountain Communities. The county has elevated this to a full unified command. All resources have been and will continue to be deployed to the mountains. The Board of Supervisors has asked the state for any and all resources they can provide, but we have not heard back from them. If you are in need of medicine, food, or other critical supplies, call the 24/7 county OES hotline at 909-387-3911. If you are in immediate life-threatening danger, call 911.
Members of the San Bernardino County Veterans Affairs Department will visit Joshua Tree monthly to offer in-person assistance to United States military veterans needing help with benefit claims. Look for the County VA at the County Government Center on the second Wednesday of every month in 2024.
