Supervisor Rowe is aware of the critical conditions on the ground in the Mountain Communities. The county has elevated this to a full unified command. All resources have been and will continue to be deployed to the mountains. The Board of Supervisors has asked the state for any and all resources they can provide, but we have not heard back from them. If you are in need of medicine, food, or other critical supplies, call the 24/7 county OES hotline at 909-387-3911. If you are in immediate life-threatening danger, call 911.
The Run Through the Pines is a San Bernardino Rim Mountain Community Event and is one of the longest “running” runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979). It features a 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and is brought on by community support from sponsor, vendors, and volunteers from all over the mountain.
