Supervisor Rowe is aware of the critical conditions on the ground in the Mountain Communities. The county has elevated this to a full unified command. All resources have been and will continue to be deployed to the mountains. The Board of Supervisors has asked the state for any and all resources they can provide, but we have not heard back from them. If you are in need of medicine, food, or other critical supplies, call the 24/7 county OES hotline at 909-387-3911. If you are in immediate life-threatening danger, call 911.

Free Tax Preparation – Big Bear

With this year’s extended tax filing deadline for San Bernardino County residents, San Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) will offer a few more Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) events during June. Next stop is at the Big Bear Valley Senior Center this Friday, June 2.
