Supervisor Rowe is aware of the critical conditions on the ground in the Mountain Communities. The county has elevated this to a full unified command. All resources have been and will continue to be deployed to the mountains. The Board of Supervisors has asked the state for any and all resources they can provide, but we have not heard back from them. San Bernardino County Public Works has shared this video about the recently completed Birch Creek Bridge project in Oak Glen. This is located next to the Oak Glen Steakhouse and suffered catastrophic damage during Tropical Storm Hilary.
County teams used a creative approach to replace the structure in just over two months. With the completion of this project, all roads are now open in Oak Glen.
