The Lake Arrowhead Branch Library will be temporarily closed Wednesday, May 20, through Friday, May 22, while crews complete a long-awaited parking lot repaving project.
Library officials said the project has been in coordination for some time, and the contractor recently notified the County of an opening to complete the work during this timeframe. With changing mountain weather conditions always a factor, the work is being scheduled now to take advantage of favorable temperatures and conditions.
The temporary closure is necessary to help ensure the safety of library staff and patrons while construction is underway.
