The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department continues the popular “Lady Be Aware” training sessions in 2024. This one-day, 8-hour course includes classroom and hands-on training designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to address threats to personal safety.
The first portion of the training will be in the classroom. It will cover various topics, including cyber safety, home safety, and situational awareness. The second portion of the class will teach weaponless defensive tactics and provide an introduction to shooting firearms.
