DESCRIPTION:The City of Needles will welcome patriotic motorcycle riders on Wednesday\, May 14\, as part of the 35th Annual Run For The Wall and the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. The Central Route riders are expected to arrive at El Garces and Santa Fe Park (950 Front Street) at approximately 12:35 p.m. as they journey from San Bernardino County to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington\, D.C. Community members are encouraged to line Route 66 and cheer on the riders during their lunch stop in Needles. Donations for rider meals are being accepted at Deco Food Services\, 700 W. Broadway; for more information\, call 760-333-5255.
