DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Needles in honoring our nation’s heroes at the Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday\, November 8\, from 8 to 11 a.m. at El Garces on Route 66 (950 Front Street). The morning will include an Honor Guard presentation and a hearty pancake breakfast. Breakfast is complimentary for local veterans and $5 for all others. This special event is made possible through the support of community partners including local businesses\, service organizations\, and the City of Needles.

SUMMARY:Run For the Wall - Needles
DESCRIPTION:The annual Run For the Wall cross-country motorcycle ride will stop in Needles on Wednesday\, May 15\, at the Needles El Garces and Santa Fe Park. Needles is the first stop on the Central Route Hub\, which starts in Ontario earlier that day. Organizers estimate that about 300 riders\, drivers\, and auxiliary crew will enter the community at about 12:30 p.m. Lunch will follow a short welcome ceremony.
