This one-day\, 8-hour course includes classroom and hands-on training designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to address threats to personal safety. \nThe first portion of the training will be in the classroom. It will cover various topics\, including cyber safety\, home safety\, and situational awareness. The second portion of the class will teach weaponless defensive tactics and provide an introduction to shooting firearms.\nUpcoming “Lady Be Aware” instruction is set for February 10 and 24\, March 16\, April 20\, and May 18. \n  \n
